UNH Prime Food Vendor

The University System of New Hampshire (USNH) is seeking a single prime‑vendor to provide all food and food‑related products for UNH Hospitality and Campus Services across multiple campus locations. The contract will be a five‑year agreement (with one optional two‑year extension) covering a broad range of categories, from meat, poultry, seafood, dairy, frozen and dry grocery items to ancillary supplies such as paper, disposables, and chemical supplies. The vendor must integrate with UNH’s FoodPro ordering system, meet next‑day delivery expectations, maintain a ≥ 98.5 % on‑time fill rate, submit detailed cost and pricing data to the third‑party audit firm InsideTrack, and comply with USNH’s insurance, PCI‑DSS, and security requirements. • Provide full‑service food procurement for eight primary dining locations (dining halls, retail cafés, concessions, catering) and additional off‑campus sites. • Deliver a “market basket” of roughly 250 top‑selling items, pricing them on a cost‑plus (percentage markup) basis, with cents‑per‑pound schedules for meat and poultry. • Support next‑day delivery, maintain rigorous reporting (weekly cost feeds, monthly price verification), and meet sustainability, diversity, and local‑sourcing goals.
