The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System seeks a firm‑fixed‑price sole‑source contractor to provide comprehensive maintenance, repair, and support services for eight Epredia Vega and SlideMate laboratory instruments. The contractor must deliver OEM‑level gold service and swap plans, including parts, labor, travel, software licensing, phone support, preventive maintenance, and rapid swap‑replacement of SlideMate units. All work must comply with manufacturer instructions and Joint Commission standards, with detailed reporting and documentation requirements.
• Scope covers full‑service preventive and corrective maintenance for eight specific lab systems (Vega and SlideMate), including annual preventive visits, one‑hour live‑lab retraining, and 48‑hour swap‑replacement for SlideMate units.
• Contractor must provide qualified, factory‑trained Field Service Engineers, assume all travel costs, supply new or like‑new parts (with warranty), and submit field service reports within 7 calendar days of service.
