Information Technology (IT) Asset Disposal Services

The Shawnee Mission School District (SMSD) in Kansas is seeking qualified vendors to provide comprehensive IT Asset Disposal (ITAD) services for its 56 school and support locations. The contract will run for an initial one‑year term starting January 1 2027, with up to four optional one‑year renewals (potential total of five years). Services include secure data sanitization per NIST 800‑88, collection, transportation, documentation, resale or recycling of hardware, provision of collection crates/tubs, and delivery of R2v3 certification and audit reports. Vendors must submit a per‑asset fee structure, offer a percentage of net resale proceeds to the District, and comply with all federal, state, and local e‑waste regulations.
