Description
The Commonwealth of Kentucky is establishing a Master Agreement to provide comprehensive event‑maintenance cleaning services for the Kentucky Horse Park. The contractor will be responsible for pre‑event, event‑time, and post‑event cleaning, pressure‑washing, mat installation/removal, stall waste removal, and assorted maintenance tasks across multiple arenas, stadiums, barns, rings, halls, and temporary “tent city” setups. Work is performed on an as‑needed basis for roughly 200 events per year, often overnight or within tight time windows, and requires qualified personnel, on‑site supervision, and the ability to work safely around horses and the public.
• Scope includes cleaning of Alltech Arena, Rolex Stadium, Covered Arena, barns, rings, halls, and tent city (trash removal, restroom sanitation, floor sweeping/mopping, pressure‑washing seats and concourses).
• Additional services: mat/ tarp installation & removal, event‑deck flooring installation, stall wall removal/replacement, and hourly event‑maintenance crew support.
• Minimum contractor experience: 10 years in commercial/event cleaning/maintenance.
• Required on‑site supervisor for many assignments; all staff must be experienced around horses.
• Work schedule is event‑driven, often overnight; contractor must meet tight turnaround times.
• Contract start: Dec 1 2026; duration indefinite, with assignments issued throughout the term.
• Submission is electronic via Kentucky’s eProcurement system; closing date Nov 3 2026, 1:30 PM EST.
• Site visit scheduled Oct 22 2026 (optional but recommended).
• Mandatory insurance, certifications, and compliance with state/federal regulations required.
