Description
The Tuscaloossa County Division of Human Resources (DHR) is seeking a qualified janitorial service provider to perform comprehensive cleaning of all DHR office buildings and associated areas from November 2026 through January 2027. The contract mandates daily cleaning, weekly deep‑clean tasks, twice‑weekly restroom upkeep, monthly mop‑head replacement, and quarterly floor‑waxing or buffing cycles, with strict compliance, background‑check, insurance, and quality‑control requirements.
• Daily duties include waste removal, floor sweeping/mopping, restroom sanitizing, lobby and corridor cleaning, and supply replenishment (paper towels, hand‑soap, etc.).
• Weekly, twice‑weekly, monthly, and quarterly schedules add carpet vacuuming, surface dusting, HVAC vent cleaning, floor stripping/waxing (Fall & Spring) or buffing (Winter & Summer), and detailed exterior maintenance.
• Supplier must attend a mandatory site visit on Nov 4 2026, hold monthly on‑site quality‑control meetings, maintain up‑to‑date employee rosters, provide three references, and carry at least $1 M liability insurance.
