Description
The City of Alexandria, Louisiana is seeking a qualified vendor to acquire high‑resolution aerial imagery (0.6 in/1.524 cm GSD) for the entire 29‑sq‑mi city, produce a textured 3‑D mesh of the downtown area, and generate individual 3‑D models for a list of city‑owned buildings. The contract also requires a survey‑control plan with ≥30 independent checkpoints, open‑format data delivery, and mandatory rapid‑response imagery services for any qualifying emergency event during the term. The work will be performed over a three‑year base period with optional one‑year renewals.
• Deliver a city‑wide natural‑color orthophoto and associated metadata.
• Produce a continuous textured 3‑D mesh for the downtown polygon and per‑building 3‑D models (base and optional high‑complexity versions).
• Provide survey‑control, QA/QC, and emergency‑lifecycle imagery (post‑event + restoration flight).
• Meet strict technical constraints (no resampling, specified CRS, ASPRS accuracy standards) and supply data in open formats (GeoTIFF, CO‑G, OGC 3‑D Tiles, glTF/GLB, OBJ).
