The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole‑source, firm‑fixed‑price contract to Becton, Dickinson & Company (BD) for a one‑year baseline maintenance and support agreement on the Alaris infusion‑pump software suite (Guardrails) at Butler Healthcare Care Center, with up to four additional one‑year option extensions. Work includes adding a new IP‑address range to the existing Alaris system, providing ongoing software updates, technical support, quarterly analytics reporting, and periodic on‑site service visits. The contractor must log into a VA Altoona server to perform network configuration changes, invoice monthly for maintenance fees, and comply with BD’s federal terms, FIPS 140‑2 standards, and VA security policies.
• Add new IP address range to existing Alaris infusion‑pump system (no hardware changes, no PII).
• Provide annual maintenance & support – monthly invoicing, software updates, FIPS‑140‑2 compliance, and technical support per BD’s Alaris Support Program.
• Deliver quarterly analytics reports, monthly refresher training, and annual on‑site technical & clinical consultant visits (per licensed unit thresholds).
• Access to BD Knowledge Portal, tuition for up to two representatives to attend Alaris Data Workshop each year.
• Contract is firm‑fixed‑price, base year + up to four optional one‑year extensions, with performance deliverables tied to software management and support.
